PostSubject: like beating a dead horse i know.   Tue Jun 28, 2011 7:30 pm

i have screwed up in my car choices... Adam said something that stuck with me the other day about if i had just kept one car it would prolly be a monster by now since i have wasted so much money on swapping cars like ladies. so im trying to come to a final conclusion and stick with it but yall know me. this will take some work on my part.

I really want a rwd car i.e. mustang cause of cheapness trans am cause of out of the box quickness... but should i just stick with the crx and mod it... Completely paid off is very nice and i really do hate car payments due to how i have been since yall have known me...
Long story short someone please help me lol.

thanks guys

You gotta decide what you want. Dont get something for any other reason. One mayy be faster, one may be easier....but at the end of the day if you dont actually like the car, what fun is it?

Yeah that's pretty much it. There's been all kinds of cars that I've wanted, some because they're fast stock, some cuz they're cheaper to mods, some cuz they have a good platform, and some just cuz they look good or just different. I stuck with the TA cuz it's what I've always wanted, despite the obvious shortcomings. It's not the best, cheapest, or fastest, but I love it.

Get what you really WANT, not just whatever the flavor of the month is. Otherwise youre just going to keep running in circles n getting into slower and slower cars. Everything can b fast... But you keep buying everything and you'll never achieve anything.

I went through this when buying a "daily driver". Looked at all kinds of cars....yes, even Hondas and Chevies. I thought about it and thought about it but still knew I wouldnt be happy even if they were cheaper/got better gas mileage/etc. Then I went through it again when deciding on the V6 or V8 for the Magnum. I knew what I wanted but beat myself over the head thinking of everything else. In the end, I got what I always wanted, and wouldnt change a thing.

thanks for the advice guys... i guess its time to do some soul searching and figure out what i really wanna do... for now im not gonna buy anything. believe it or not the crx is the cheapest car i have ever owned but its fun to drive just needs a few tweaks but its a solid car except when i have to push start it from time to time. not sure what the issue is there but it always starts and the options are endless and once again its just fun to drive...

Keep it for a daily driver, then get a toy.
